The Christmas story is a story of promise, hope and love as we await the celebration of our Savior's birth and look forward to His return.  But I have to be honest, I am not very good at waiting.  I have a hard time waiting.  When I am tired, running late, or stressed, my patience grows even thinner.  I want things now, and I want to enjoy them now.  After we finished out "Christmas Shopping," which consisted of a few things we needed to replace for ourselves, I was ready to open the box and start putting the items to good use.  When Melissa said, "no, we have to wait 'til Christmas," I must have given her the dumbest look, like I couldn't comprehend what she was saying.  I had missed the point. When it comes to celebrating Christmas, there are lots of things that can get in the way and cause us to miss the point.  What was once a time of celebrating the story of promise, hope and love has somehow morphed into a season of feasting, long lines, traffic jams and shopping lists.  Somehow, it seems, we are missing the point.  We have allowed the Christmas Conspiracies to take over, pulling our attention away from the things that matter. But what if we could start a Christmas Conspiracy of our own?  What if we could somehow find a way to focus our hearts on Christ in the midst of all the Holiday Stress and Chaos?  What if we could somehow make Christmas world-changing once again?  I invite you to join us this Advent Season as we begin a Christmas Conspiracy in our own lives.  As we continue our journey through the book of Acts we will also look at the Christmas Story and how God's word can help us make Christmas world-changing once again.
