Family Ministry
|
Little Prairie is committed to your whole family, at every age and every stage. We offer unique opportunities for the whole family to gather for inter-generational gatherings, events and community experiences throughout the year.
Little Prairie offers Milestone Ministries for those key moments in your life. |
Children's Ministry
|
Kids are important to us! Children are welcome at our Sunday worship with a weekly Children's Sermon and special activities to hold their interest during the service. Our youngest children (preschool and younger) are invited to join our screened volunteer staff in the nursery if it's easier for mom and dad. From September through May, we offer a full Sunday School program for children ages 4 - grade 5, taught by our committed volunteers.
Throughout the year we offer special Wednesday night programs for kids and in the summer our Vacation Bible School is always popular! |
Youth Ministry
|
At Little Prairie we know that being a youth is hard! Between the many commitments, team sports, school activities and more, our Wednesday night youth group is a time for youth to refocus, relax, have fun, and prepare teens to face the many demands they face. It's like ice cream for your soul... only healthier! Bring your friends, bring your homework, bring yourself... just come!
We meet during the school year from 6:30 - 8:00 with grades 6-12. Middle school and Sr. High are joined are often together for games and the lesson time, but in small groups for their discussions. Other key elements to youth ministry at LPUMC include; trips, service opportunities, Sunday school, confirmation and Friday Fun events.
