Three weeks. It took me three weeks before I finally had a chance to sit down long enough to write the first "weekly" devotional of 2012.  Sometimes life just moves at that pace doesn't it.  Thankfully, before 2011 came to an end, I took some time to sit down and reflect.  Sometimes we have to look back before we can look ahead.  As I looked back at the past year, and the past several years; I began to see how God had been at work in my life and in our church.  As I looked back and reflected I saw some areas of my life that I wanted to address going into the new year.  And as I looked back, I was encouraged to know God would be with me in the coming year as well.  This coming Sunday, we will be looking back at our past to see what God has been doing.  I invite you to share your memories and your story on our Little Prairie Timeline as we reflect on the good times, the struggles, the people and the memories and events we have that have made up Little Prairie's past.  In 2012 we will continue to seek God's direction for us by also looking at what God is doing now and in our community, and by discerning together God's call for our future.  I hope you will be able to join us in these exciting times and days ahead.
