Michele Kamen... has been serving Little Prairie UMC since  June of 2008.  Michele serves as our office administrator part-time.   Staff Little Prairie - “Where Church is Family” Pastor Gordon... began his ministry with us during the summer of 2006.  Little Prairie has been his first appointment but before coming to Little Prairie, Pastor Gordon worked with CROSSROADS CHURCH of Lakeville, and since 2003 has served in just about every area of ministry there is, from answering phones to preaching, scrubbing toilets to leading a small group.  Pastor Gordon is appointed to both Little Prairie and CROSSROADS CHURCH where he assists with their worship planning and other related ministries.  Pastor Gordon grew up in a small town in southwestern Minnesota.  It was there that he first remembers praying to receive Jesus into his life and first felt God calling him to ministry.  “I remember I was about 9 or 10 years old when I was sitting in church one day listening to a missionary share about a recent trip she was on.   I remember going home that day and telling my mom that’s what I wanted to do.  I wanted to serve God full-time.”  Since then it has been a journey of discernment as he has listened for and followed God’s call in his life.  Pastor Gordon celebrated his ordination as an Elder in the United Methodist Church in June of 2011.
